Dear advice seekers, dear interested parties, dear vistors,
Fair Integration is implemented on the basis of Section 45b of the Residence Act in conjunction with the Third-Country Nationals Advisory Ordinance, since January 1, 2026. Fair integration is funded by the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (BMAS). Detailed information is available here: https://www.bmas.de/
Fair Integration is no longer a part of the IQ Network.
Fair Integration is a counselling service in Germany for refugees and migrants from third countries (outside the EU) on social and labour law issues. The counselling service is available in all federal states and is provided by various organisations. Counselling is offered free of charge, anonymously and in various languages of origin. Counselling topics include labour and social law issues that are directly related to the employment relationship, such as working hours, dismissal, temporary work and many more.
The advice centres are supported and coordinated nationwide by the Competence Centre for Fair Integration. The Competence Centre is based at IQ Consult gGmbH, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the DGB Bildungswerk e.V. and works closely with the DGB trade unions.
Please note: Fair Integration does not provide counselling on professional recognition (recognition of foreign qualifications). You can contact the recognition portal "Recognition in Germany" at any time.
